As the chill of October hits, Beijing is alight with flurry of activities! On the 15th, BeGo Education educators will join artists from the Central Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA) for an art mini-masterclass themed: “The Master’s Guide”, where art will meet education at the CHAO Art Centre, CHAO Hotel. The three-hour long activities will include an exclusive tour of art pieces and attending families parents will have the opportunity for a private tour of the displayed works with an expert guide from Peking Artist Associates (PAA). Afterwards, the children will get a rare opportunity to experience art through an artist’s brush strokes as they draw inspiration from the exquisite paintings. The children will each have a canvas to practice one-on-one painting with aspiring young artist who will use the displayed works of art as an inspiration for the children to show case the latest painting techniques and a wide range of artistic practices characterised by vibrant colors and vibrant visual rhythms.
The mini art masterclass is part of the ongoing art exhibition, featuring the work of the famed Australian artist, Charlie Sheard titled: The Joy of Pure Abstraction, which will remain open until Nov. 15th.
The event is part of an ongoing activities form BeGo Education to inspire the young learners through activities and play while also developing crucial skills of observation, reflection and critical thinking which are crucial 21st century skills.
